The Making and Showing of Sad Clown Self-Portrait

Hey Folks,

Here is a brief overview of my final degree show piece-

  •  Final Degree show peice

  • Weaving on Jacquard power loom at the University.
 
  • For larger peices I would divide the design up into a number of sections/ panels.

  • I then weave off each panel, machine embroider them and stretch each panel onto wooden frames. Hanging each panel next to eachother to create the image.

  2. Hi Laura, Sorry for the latest reply known to man. Thanks for the comment. I just realised that I know you. I met you at Nottingham Trent Uni last year. Chloe Burgess worked for you and Margo Selby was my tutor.
